Tanzania
Tanzania is East Africa's classic safari country — the Serengeti's migration, Ngorongoro's crater floor, and Kilimanjaro rising over it all.

Big skies, bigger wildlife.
Tanzania is where most people picture when they picture an African safari — endless plains, the wildebeest migration moving across the Serengeti, and the natural amphitheatre of the Ngorongoro Crater holding one of the densest concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent.
The dry season, June through October, is when animals cluster around remaining water sources, making sightings easier and roads more passable. It's also the coolest, most comfortable stretch for climbing Kilimanjaro.
Where to spend your time.
Serengeti National Park
Vast open plains best known for the Great Migration — millions of wildebeest and zebra moving in a seasonal loop across the ecosystem.
Ngorongoro Crater
A collapsed volcanic caldera that traps a self-contained ecosystem — one of the most reliable places on earth to see the full range of big game in a single day.
Mount Kilimanjaro
Africa's highest peak and one of the world's most accessible high-altitude climbs — no technical climbing skill required, just fitness and time.
Before you go.
A few practical notes worth knowing ahead of a Tanzania trip.
Getting Around
Most safari circuits are covered by small chartered flights or 4x4 transfers between parks — distances are large, so internal travel is part of the itinerary, not an afterthought.
Pace Yourself
Multi-park safaris are more rewarding at a slower pace — two or three nights per park beats a rushed one-night stop, especially around the Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
